Kaminsky and Pabst Racing Reunite for 2022 Indy Pro Campaign

Oconomowoc, WI

After more than a nine-month absence from the Road to Indy and the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, Kaminsky rejoins the series this weekend as the 2022 season launches in Florida at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Targeting a Road to Indy Scholarship Prize offering entrance into the prestigious Indy Lights series for 2023, Kaminsky and a field of elite young racers will kick off a nine-event, eighteen-race schedule with two rounds on the Streets of St. Petersburg on February 25 and 26.

The 2022 season marks a new chapter for Indy Pro 2000 as the series has worked with race car builder Tatuus to develop an all-new chassis. For the first time in the series, cars will feature a new “halo” safety device surrounding the driver’s head to provide increased protection against head injuries. While the race cars have a new look, fans familiar with Kaminsky will instantly recognize him on course piloting of the #27 Slick Locks entry in the black and orange colors of Pabst Racing. The drop of the green flag in St. Petersburg will mark the fourth year that Kaminsky and Pabst Racing have joined forces. The duo has not skipped a beat despite running a limited campaign last season. In 2022 they are ready to build on their positive connection, on and off the track, to find new success.

Kaminsky’s goals are unwavering as he targets an overall Indy Pro 2000 Championship win. Determined to start the season off on the right foot, he shows up to St. Petersburg “hungry like the wolf.”

Catch all of the action this weekend with live Indy Pro 2000 timing and video on the Road To Indy mobile app and roadtoindy.tv. Be sure to check Colin’s social media pages for live updates, as well as this weekend’s schedule of events.
